I went to Betty a few weeks ago for a Brazilian blowout and I LOVE my results! I had gotten the BB a few times before at other salons but I didn't get the results I wanted. Betty took her time with my hair and didn't rush, it took a while to finish but I got the best results because of it. Betty herself is so kind and sweet, easily made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be coming to Betty from now on for all my Brazilian blowouts!

My girls and I have been going to Betty's salon for years. She is a hidden gem on the Westside, affordable color, Brazilian blowouts and regular cuts. I'm a busy mom, and she is super accommodating, willing to set appts early on the weekend or during the week, depending on my schedule. A ton of my friends go to her now, she really gives me peace of mind, and I get compliments on my hair all the time!

What an amazing organic facial I had with Farah who is located inside this salon at 11049 Santa Monica Blvd!!I am no spring chicken but when my facial was complete my face was alive and tingling!I have had facials done all over and this one surpassed any that I have ever had!If you want to feel good treat yourself to a facial by Farah! Betty is great ! This is my third time going to her and she never disappoints .shes super friendly and outgoing . She definitely knows what she is doing and she'll be honest with you about how your hair is going to look like . She doesn't lie to you and tell you that your hair is going to look exactly how it is on the picture you are showing her . I think her prices are more than reasonable for the quality , time and effort she puts in .

BETTY IS THE BEST! She's a perfectionist which is the best quality to have in someone doing your hair. She's so sweet and personable, and has years of experience! The salon is so clean and super cute as well! I needed to come in early and she was able to come in at 8am for me (when they open at 10) so if you need an early appt or a late night appt I'm sure Betty would do everything she could to accommodate. Everyone in here is so friendly, and genuinely happy. Such a great place to come :) It's next door to Coffee Bean, and she has unbeatable prices! This is my first review ever because I felt compelled to write one for Betty. It was my first time ever at a hair salon and she made the process very smooth. She even squeezed me in for a Sunday appointment when I called the day of. Prices are very fair and she really does take care of you. She explains the process and takes the time to care for your hair. I got ombre hair color and I absolutely love it. She doesn't rush the process or try to kick you out because the salon is about to be closed. You can tell she genuinely cares for her clients and is passionate about her job. I even stayed until after the salon was closed because my hair was not lightening up. She even offered dinner for me to share because I have been there for quite a while. She is also super nice and funny and a joy to be around. Her stories are really funny and interesting and overall a very happy person. No wonder her clients and employees adore her. Will definitely recommend to all my friends. Parking is also easy to find since there are lots of spots in the plaza.

I was thinking about changing the color of my hair for a while, and finally decided to take the plunge. I had never colored my hair before, so I was indecisive about the exact color and nervous about the change from brunette to blond. Betty was so friendly and instantly put me at ease as she helped me pick out the perfect color. She lightened my hair to an in-between color so it was different but not shocking to ease me into the change. I love the results so much I plan to go lighter in the next few months and will definitely be visiting again. I really appreciate the friendliness and expert help with this change!

Betty is amazing and totally exceeded my expectations with my hair cut, roots, and highlight toner which was only upstaged by her amazing prices. I have usually over paid at the high end salons thinking that you have to pay a lot for great job. I was so wrong. She is very talented.

Belle is an amazing sweetheart and hair stylist. I came in frustrated with my frizzy long hair and she quickly got rid of my split ends. In one snip, she fixed my bangs and I was in awe with her skills right then and there. She did a great job texturizing my long color damaged hair and she also gave me hair tips. When I was inquiring about hair products , she suggested the best products for my hair type and how to properly condition my hair ( had no idea that water temperature affects the conditioning process). I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone who is looking for an experienced hair stylist with reasonable pricing especially around the west side. She has such a beautiful and outgoing personality that made me feel like she was family as soon as I met her. Go to her, you won't be disappointed.

I got a Brazilian Blowout by Betty. It was the second time she has done it, and it turned out just as amazing the second time as it did the first! I also got my hair cut. I got bangs for the first time in years, and she did such an amazing job! I am obsessed with my hair!! Betty and I chatted the whole two hours of the process and I had so much fun! I highly highly recommend Betty for a hair cut and/ or a Brazilian Blowout. She is the sweetest and the best!!

Betty is the best! I had my first Brazilian Blowout by her and then I went somewhere else with a Groupon and promptly returned to Betty. I have mixed hair and if I had had my hair done by Betty first I would have just thought the Blowout wouldn't work on my type of hair, but I know it could be smooth and silky.
When the news came out that the Brazilian Blowout may not be safe I looked for an alternative and found the Zerran Realisse, which is an organic straightening treatment and thank goodness Betty does it for me. She really takes her time to get things right. She just started this salon and I hope it is successful because after trying out many people I am so happy to finally find someone who can get my hair STRAIGHT, and she will really work with you to find a convenient time for you.

Belle Salon and Betty are 5 stars and two thumbs wayyy up!!!!! I've been going to her for years!!!! She really listens to what you want and does exactly that. My hair is damaged from the flat ironing and everytime I go she takes extra care of my hair and because of her it's starting to grow and look healthy again!!! Betty is truly THE BEST hairdresser I've ever encountered. She's done my hair twice already and I have curly/wavy hair that tends to not have a ton of volume and looks deflated. She is the first person I've had in 37 years to cut my hair perfectly and give me volume and great layers. I feel so beautiful in her hands. She also does my boyfriend's hair and he's addicted to her too. I am so grateful my friend introduced me to her, she is a gifted hairdresser and I recommend her to everyone who asks about my hair (and I've gotten a ton of compliments). Love her!!!

Josephine is the best.
I first got a haircut from Josephine(when she was at other salon) and it looked fabulous. I have heavy and thick Asian hair, so many stylist could not handle it but Josephine. She cared the shape of my face and tone of my skin for a better result!!
Therefore, it looked good even after 6 months.

It was hard to find Josephine after she moved to this place, but finally I met her in a new place today! (Likewise, my hair turned out greatly as it should be with Josephine!)
She is so SWEEEEET and nice person as a stylist and as a friend.

I checked out Belle based on yelp reviews and I'm very glad I did. I lucked out with Josephine, she is so sweet and easy to talk to. She listens carefully to what you want and checks in throughout the cut to make sure she is staying true to that, while giving advice and guidance when needed (I'm no hair expert). She's awesome and I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends!

I was looking for a hair salon with a stylist who KNOWS how do dye ombre and stumbled upon Betty here on yelp at Belle. It was my first time dying my hair so I wanted someone who absolutely knew what I wanted and how to do it and Betty did absolutely that! She did an amazing job! and all in 2-3 hours! many places averaged about 4 hours long but Betty did it quick and perfectly. Not to mention, she is such a wonderful person and such a great personality! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you Betty for my beautiful hair!!

Great service and cut. I'm very picky about my hair and have had bad experiences where I had to go back to the stylist to fix my hair. Thankfully, this place turned out to be good. Josephine did a great job and she was very receptive to give me what I wanted. She also followed up with me afterwards. I had a layered cut by her and it passed the test of a "good cut" as it still looked OK after 3 months and I did not need her to retouch the layers. Free ample parking is another plus.

Three generations of our family have undying loyalty and appreciation for Stella! I met her years ago when she was at another WLA salon. I have longish natural hair, that many stylists get ideas to start messing with. Stella listens to what I want, she's careful, and she's an all around good person. My mother (now 87) has gone to her for years (used to get perms, before cancer treatment thinned her hair; now gets cut and curl) and my kids (now 13 and 6, girl and boy) have grown up with Stella cutting their hair, and she recently dyed my 13 year old's ends a lovely blue, at her request! She can work with anyone, whatever hair you've got, with a smile and a hug.

Betty is the best I called today for a last minute appointment and she fit me in and did the best ombr color on me. She's the best and she's so nice and sweet her and farah are so sweet. If you want your color to come out amazing come to Betty.

Betty is one of the only people I trust to do my hair.
Naturally I have extremely curly hair..no one has been able to do the magic on my hair that Betty does. I have gotten Brazillion blowouts at other salons and my hair would never last. Betty's unique method leaves my hair silky, sleek, beautiful and healthy. She is very precise about her work and makes sure every bit of hair is properly undergoing the Brazillion treatment.
She did an amazing job on my color as well. I went from dark brown to blonde and she listened to exactly what I wanted and my hair didn't get damaged.

I just moved to LA in June, I was driving over 2 hours to my old stylist because I was so scared to have someone else do my hair, finally after 4 month of out grow i couldn't take it anymore, I had seen a salon right next to my apartment and deiced to give it a try. When I called to make an appointment I was hoping to get in right away but I didn't think it was going to be possible, Betty (owner) answered the phone and got me right in that next evening... When I went in to my appointment Betty was wonderful, she spent a lot of time consulting on my hair to figure out what I wanted and what would look good on me. Betty is so kind!! But more importantly, she definitely has a sixth sense about how hair should look. I have "long-hair anxiety" and am always so nervous whenever I receive services for my hair, especially trimming my bangs. However, Betty was very reassuring and offered advice and promised me that it'll look good. She never got impatient with my anxiousness and questions. You can tell she's had years of experience. I went in for a haircut and ombre and in my own opinion....it came out amazing! The layers of color flowed into the next, and overall it looks like a very smooth ombre :)

She noticed that I was studying for school, so she offered me as much coffee as I needed!

I have to downgrade for several reasons. The haircut isn't that good despite my prior glowing review. I noticed that the following week after my haircut and each month after. However, her coloring skills are great as she is really good at blending so that's why I keep going back. What I don't like is that she keeps increasing her prices without telling me until I go to pay. She is literally making up prices each time and she can do that because there aren't any price lists. Also, she no longer takes credit card (though she will say its temporary each time) so bring your debit card or cash. In addition, while she is still funny and entertaining, most of her stories are very mean spirited as she talks about how crazy her other customers are so it makes me uncomfortable. Go to her for coloring--I haven't found anyone else here that I like that can do it. Go to her for haircuts only if you have long hair so she can use the hairdryer and hairspray to "hide" the bad haircut easily.

BEA is the best!! I came in last minute on a Sat. night and she got me an appt. to do a blow-dry, style and up-do. She only charged me $45.00....AMAZING PRICE AND a quality job. My hairstyle did not come out of place all night and it easily could have if she did a bad job...but it was so well done and stayed in place...and was not too tight on my head....Flowed beautifully. I needed my hair done late on a Sunday and Betty stayed open for me even though she had been there all day. She did an AMAZING cut and lowlights exactly like the picture I showed her. Alright, this is a warning that the following review will be a little bit dramatic but 100% true.

Let me just begin by saying this: BETTY IS A M***F***** HERO. Please, somebody give her a medal!!!

After a long night of crying myself to sleep because I had just spent $200 getting THE WORST ombre job on this planet (I looked like I was wearing a black bowl cut), I seriously contemplated the following:

1) Dying my hair back to black (and wasting a ton of money)
2) Driving 2 hours back to the previous salon to demand they re-do it (Just. NO.)
3) Sulk in my room with a towel wrapped around my head til my hair grew out (seemed like a good idea at the time)

Since I couldn't sleep and it was 7am, I decided I couldn't just go down without a fight, especially with an impending social event coming up. I started calling salons (not sure why, no one was opened yet). I was just hoping for a miracle.

I called Belle Salon at 7am, no reply- didn't even leave a message, cuz I thought "Why bother, everything is HOPELESS".

At 8am, I get a call back, and on the other end, I heard the voice of an angel (aka. Betty).

She saw my missed call and asked what service I needed. I immediately told her that I was in the middle of a hair catastrophe and I need it fixed ASAP! So she booked me her earliest appointment. Later I found out she had only gotten 2 hours of sleep and it was supposed to be her day off. God bless you Betty.

OKAY everyone. This lady knows what she's doing. She took one look at my hair and it was like we made some telepathic connection. Over the course of an hour and half she performed a miracle and made my ghastly looking hair into something totally new. I could, once again, look into the mirror without an intense feeling of hatred.

Not only is Betty a skilled professional, but she's also a doll to talk to. She saved the day for me, possibly saved me a lot more than that. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Before and after pic posted.

(Yeah, I know the before pic doesn't look THAT bad, but from the front, it looked horrendous- like I said before, the black bangs and nonexistent black to blonde transition created an illusion of having a bowl cut.)

I have been a loyal customer of Chris Chase since the beginning of time. I actually followed them when Betty moved to what is now Chris Chase. I am a loyal customer because of one Hair stylist, Andreas. She is top notch! The cut is a bit pricey but worth every dollar. She gives the best cut and when you want to get a color, she knows exactly what to do. She is one of the best out there!

But the salon is closed now? Her phone goes straight to voicemail and her salon looks like its closed. Does anyone know whats going on?

I drove 45 minutes for a haircut, and I've got to say, it was very well worth it! I have long natural curly hair, the stylist I had been loyal to for 15 years moved locations without leaving a forwarding address; a very disappointing experiencing, I found Belle here on Yelp and Betty was very welcoming from the first conversation, understood exactly what I was looking for and delivered!! I will definitely make the drive to her again.

I came here after having read all of these excellent reviews and left with a 5 star experience of my own.

Betty is very a passionate hair stylist who really prioritizes the look that you want while also offering a variety of helpful suggestions on how to elevate that look. I came in hoping to dye my hair with an ombre red. She first went over a few options with me and then ended up mixing a very beautiful red color to use as my base. Throughout the session, she and her assistant exuded energy and positivity and paid close attention to styling detail while sharing stories that constantly made me laugh. She also puts in an enormous amount of dedication to her work. While the salon closes at 8PM, she stayed after to work on my hair until much later. She's reflected to me on times where she would stay at the salon until 2AM styling some of her customer's hair! Price was also very affordable, cheaper than many other salon options that I looked up.

Overall she blended the dye beautifully, and I've never seen a more unique and beautiful red color on any hair :) It definitely made one of my first bold styling statements worthwhile and expressive!

I've gone to Betty four times now, and she's never disappointed. She is a sweetheart, and great at her job. This time I went to her wanting an odd grey-rose color, and not to my surprise, she perfected it! She's lovely and keeps up with the trends. My favorite hair stylist so far.

Was in town on a Holiday and needed a quick place to go for a blow dry!! Betty was so warm and welcoming..Service was great and she transformed my hair so beautifully :) I wish I could go to Betty every time I wanted to..But, pschh! I live in a different city.

Josephine is the best! She fitted me in on short notice and did an amazing job on my hair. She kept the length like I wanted but also gave me helpful suggestions on layers and bangs. My hair looks and feels healthy now without all the split ends. She even spent the extra time to give me an awesome blow out. Josephine is definitely my new go to stylist.

And since I loved the color on her hair, I will be going back to get a similar ombre effect.

For a couple of days after I got a horrible ombre at another salon, I tried to be okay with it. I tried to be positive and tell myself maybe I can live with it for a while. The color was too orange for my skin tone but I told myself maybe this isn't too bad.

....Nope. One morning I woke up, saw my hair, got upset, and searched on yelp for an attentive stylist who listens to your needs and wants.

I found Belle salon and decided to give it a try. I asked Betty to turn it to ashy-blonde. She was attentive, thorough, honest about the process and fun to talk to! It was an evening appointment, and she even let me order food and eat it while my hair was getting done. Overall, I think she did a great job with my hair and customer service (hot tea!) and I walked out feeling so relieved that I wouldn't wake up another day feeling and looking horrible.

I came here today to get my hair colored cut and highlights
I had to go to work at 6.30 and I came at 3. So we just had 3 hours to do all of that
I had no idea how I want my hair to be only some pictures and I showed them to my stylists. She did great job
They even gave me cheesecake and coffee while they see me bored. I wasn't actually bored but seemed like that
Betty was my stylist. Ao sweet,caring, talented and multitasked.  
She gave me best service ever in 3 hours with reasonable price and fun environment
I use yelp a lot to find places but normally don't write  reviews but I had to write it for this one because I am so impressed.

I have fine, wavy, very long hair. Got long layers cut. Shampoo, condition, cut, blow dry/style for $60. Yummy coffee while waiting. Snax too. Parking says 45 min only but I asked them and they say it's fine. I was there 1.5 hours no issue.

BETTY has definitely become my favorite hair stylist! My hairs always been hard to deal with but Betty's always been very patient and does whatever she can to achieve what we want. Our sessions always take forever due to my difficult hair, Betty always stays late and does everything she could to get my hair done. I love conversations with her which makes time fly by and most importantly, pricing is VERY reasonable. Definitely recommend this place! Thanks Betty!

I found this salon through Yelp and could not be more happy that I did. I was very nervous because I am extremely picky about highlights and haircuts, and Josephine far surpassed my expectations on both. I showed her pictures of the sun kissed highlights I wanted, and she did a fantastic job. Have received countless compliments and my friends who pay upwards of $300 at other salons all want to know where I got my hair done. Very reasonable and excellent quality! Got a brazilian blowout. They're so sweet. They did a thorough job & I have a ton and i mean a TON of hair. Im very very pleased :) go there you wont regret it. However,  the parking sucks. Its only for 45 minutes!  The brazilian took 4.5 hours to complete. Yes again, I have lots of long hair. The ticket guy came and said if I wasnt done in 45 minutes hed ticket me. So he rushed me to the point I had to straightwn half my hair to finish in time. He didnt ticket me after all, & THEN I had to ask for a discount for doing part of my own hair! They gave me a $20 discount on a $200 brazilian blow out which was awesome. Then they told me not to worry about the ticket guy bc they'd take care of it and they straightened all my hair over again. Very thorough. Parking is a stressor there though.

Got a wonderful ombre from Betty today, absolutely loved it! She booked my appointment right away and was so friendly and accommodating. LOVE my new hair :D

I have gotten my highlights here twice by Betty and she has done an amazing job both times. The salon is simple and clean, and they make you feel very comfortable. highly recommended.

I found Belle salon on yelp, and the reviews really didn't lie! Everyone there is so nice, parking is easy, and the service is great. The salon has a homey feel, and Betty did a fantastic job on the ombre. Great service and results!

Betty is so absolutely amazing, I really cannot rave about her enough. I came in as a walk-in and she started on my hair right away. I normally have dark brown/black asian hair and I told her that I wanted to dye my entire head a light ashy blonde. While keeping what I wanted in mind, she suggested that she do more of an ombre effect that would be really close to the ashy blonde that I wanted but would keep my hair a lot healthier. Honestly, I was really skeptical at first, especially when I saw her doing the foils. She didn't bleach all of the strands of my hair. She quickly told me that the reason for this was that my hair would be healthier and the ombre would look a lot more natural. Because bleaching is so damaging, she deep conditioned my hair and then dried and styled with a round brush. In the salon, I hadn't noticed, but my friend later told me that there were different colors of blonde that blended seamlessly in my hair.

My hair looks absolutely stunning. I was at first nervous for I came into the salon on a whim based on the yelp reviews, but I cannot be more happy. I am absolutely in love with the end result and I keep getting so many compliments on it! And the best thing about Betty is how loving and careful she is. She really takes the time to make your hair how you actually want it. I felt bad that she kept coughing when putting on the bleach, but she told me, "I don't care as long as your hair looks beautiful." On a more personal note, I had just broken up with my boyfriend today but she just let me cry in her chair while she worked. She fed me tea and cookies and gave me advice on dating. She said it was because "all of her clients were like her children, and now I was her child too."

Betty is an amazing hair stylist and I would absolutely recommend this place 100%. I haven't had very many good experiences at hair salons so I admit I was a bit scared, but Betty surpassed all expectations that I had. She is also the sweetest too! All in all, for ombre, bleaching, deep conditioning, and styling, I paid $150 which is waaaaay less than what I would have had to pay at more high end salons and for amazing results. I also felt bad because the salon normally closed at 6 pm but she stayed past 8 pm just to finish on my hair. Definitely becoming a regular!!

I had highlights done by Betty and my hair is gorgeous! I was a bit hesitant to getting blonde/caramel highlights but luckily Betty was so attentive and understood exactly what I wanted. She took the time to design the ombre highlights for my short hair and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. My hair looked better than the picture I brought in for her to get inspiration from. She did a beautiful job and I am so excited to have found such a sweet and talented hair stylist. She also has the sweetest and most wonderful personality which made my experience here that much more enjoyable. Can't wait for my hair to grow out so she can create another fabulous hairstyle for me!

Betty is a true artist with her haircut. Have been to all the high end salons. Consistently excellent. Very professional salon. Everyone always courteous.

Josephine is amazing! She really cares about her clients and the finished product (your hair). Plus she is soooo sweet! So glad I found her. To put it frank, she offers great quality services for a great price.

Betty is an absolute master when it comes to hair! As mentioned before, I think she can read minds....I came in for an ombré and a trim. She knew exactly how I wanted my hair cut and was finished in 10 or so minutes. Next came the hair color. I wanted my brown hair blended into a red wine color so she mixed a purple and red tint and it came out beautifully. The purple comes out in darker lighting while the red pops out in the sunlight. I had color already in my hair so she graciously bleached it first before coloring it. She also deep conditioned my hair afterwards and curled it--all included in the original price!! Her rate is more than fair and she's an altogether sweet lady. Never going to another stylist again!

I randomly came here while I was on vacation to get a haircut and was in luck!  I thought I was taking a risk since I didn't know anything about the salon, but Betty cut my hair and was friendly and skilled!  She gave me an awesome haircut and also waxed my eyebrows skillfully.

She's cut & styled my hair beautifully in the past. But this week, I went to her with a totally different request: cut 10 inches off of my hair so that I can donate it.
Josephine was so supportive, so caring and so great every step of the way. I didn't even have any ideas to give her as to how I wanted my short hair to be styled - I've never had short hair!

Josephine is one of best and most patient hair stylists out there. Spent almost 5 hours trying to ombre my hair! Regular hair color didn't work on my resilient hair and she was very happy to use bleach and continue on with the process. I decided to come to this salon because of the yelp reviews I read. I picked Josephine to do my hair because I read nothing but good things about her. I made an appointment and when I arrived, Josephine was nothing but amazing! She greeted me with a smile and we just clicked! We spoke about what I wanted to do with my hair and she made it happen! I have never had a hair dresser be so particulate about what they do. She wants it done PERFECT and she will get it done PERFECT!! Time went by so fast because we kept talking and having a great time! I will never go to anyone else after what I experienced with Josephine. I have never bleached my hair and Josephine told me it will be a lot of work to maintain it, but of course its what I wanted and I went with it. After we finished our session she went ahead and emailed me a whole list of how to take care of my hair!! I mean have you ever had anyone do that??!! I bet not, but she really cares about your hair and her work!!!

Belle Salon and Betty saved me the day of my maternity shoot. I had recently gotten my hair cut pretty short and had no idea what I was gonna do with it the day of my pictures. The day before, I found a set of extensions I had purchased a few months ago. Had totally forgotten about them.

Now I'm not much of a hair person at all...completely clueless. Started looking at YouTube to figure out how to put them in...major fail after 2 hours. Finally started calling a few salons in the area. All I needed was to have them put in and blended. Not a single place would give me an estimate over the phone, let alone an appointment to have them done the next day. They all wanted me to first come in for a consultation and then schedule a separate appointment.

At last I found Betty. She was so warm and welcoming over the phone. My shoot was at 1230, out in seal beach. She told me I could come in at 10 and if I washed my hair at home it would save time. I got there at 945 with a bagful of extensions in hand. The moment I sat down she went to work and at the same time explaining the kind of look she was gonna give me. Normally I want stylists to ask me what I'm looking for, but she seemed to know what I wanted better than I did! I was out within an hour, as promised. My hair was sooo much better than I had imagined. And the entire time Betty kept me so entertained with all of her interesting stories about herself.

I definitely plan on returning to her for all of my hair care!

Josephine literally saved me. My previous hair lady did a hack job on my otherwise healthy and thick hair. She thinned it out and made it look like a fried mess. I booked an appointment with Josephine for the first time after reading all the great reviews on her. I was super nervous because I made the appointment on the same day that I was leaving the country for vacation. My hair was so bad that I couldn't leave it the way it was, but at the same time I wasn't sure if Josephine would deliver.

Deliver she did! She nailed the color I wanted for low lights, which was not easy. She had to blend two different colors and use just the right amounts to match the exact color I wanted and showed her in pictures. The placement of them was perfect as well, giving me the dimension I was looking for. The haircut she gave me took off all the damage and I finally recognized my hair again. She gave me back my healthy smooth hair.

Josephine is an extremely talented and gifted hair stylist. I am not easy to please. I'm very picky and very anal about my hair. She blew my expectations out of the water and I will never go to anyone else. Why would I? She took her time, she listened to me, she was thorough, she gave me her honest opinions, and worked with me to give me the hair I wanted. I could go on about how impressed I was with her all day.

Thanks again Josephine. I left for my trip that night feeling so relieved and excited. I'll be making another appointment with you soon.

Betty did my  highlights with a lot of care, gave me a cut and dry, it worked out great!!
She is very professional, does really listening to the customer, having a big patience, and over all this, is very sweet, fun, adorable. The ambiance in the salon is like that, smile, laughters, music, and great work!

Betty gave me a new lease on life. I was upset over my hair color and found Betty on Yelp.

I showed her a photo of the color I wanted and she was able to produce the exact color from the photo. She corrected the  previous color job I received and enhanced my hair cut to compliment my facial features.

The result: I have received so many compliments about my hair color and style!

Came here after a very bad Brazillian experience with another stylist. Betty is absolutely a pleasure to work with. She is quick and thorough with a great attitude and a positive outlook on things. I came out feeling and looking great! Already recommended friends to her.

I had long wanted to color my hair but was afraid of the damage it would do to my thick,  black hair. I set up an appointment with Betty, who accommodated me just the next day! I was excited when I went in and showed her my Demi Lovato inspiration for a subtle black to caramel brown ombre. Betty said no problem and was so friendly and happy to help.  She suggested coloring a few strands near the top and in front to frame my face. I was hesitant but trusted her, and I am so glad I did! It came out beautifully and best of all, my hair sustained little damage because Betty doesn't use bleach! I love my new, lighter hair so much and highly recommend this place. Not too pricey for amazing quality and service. Betty is the best, and you can really tell that she truly loves what she does.

I came to Belle to see Josephine. Every great review you read about her is true. I came in to get highlights for the first time. I was a bit nervous because I wanted them to be subtle. Josephine showed me a number of routes we could go, and suggested we start with a few and build it up over time. She diligently pieced apart my hair and carefully applied the dye. We chatted the whole time--she is personable and warm. I am going back to see her soon to make my hair another shade lighter.

Josephine is the absolute best! Besides her being so great and talented, it's so easy to connect with her! She's so sweet and welcoming you will instantly love her! It's crazy how fast time goes by... being in a salon all day is actually fun with her. She takes great responsibility in making sure that you walk out extremely satisfied with your hair. She focuses on being a perfectionist and is all about keeping your hair healthy. I decided to go for the ombrè look. Prior to vising her my hair was very damaged and I had some hairs that would not handle the bleach. She took her time to weave out the damaged hairs so that my hair could result having a healthy nice look. She managed to make my ombrè look great! No tacky ombre lines! She's the absolute best, recommending her to all my friends.

I had a disastrous grown out ombre that needed expert help and that's exactly what I got here at Belle. I saw Betty last Friday for the first time ever and really had a great experience. I told her exactly how I wanted my ombre to be re-done and she really listened as well and shared my vision. Seriously, this is the first time a hairstylist went along with what I wanted rather than what they thought would "look better". Betty really loves what she does and that's what sets her apart from the rest.

Wow. Where to begin. Let's start with the mere fact that I have not made any drastic changes to my hair, EVER! I did an extensive amount of research prior to my consultation with Josephine on numerous stylists and salons within the Santa Monica, Beverly Hills area/ but ended up at Belle.

I give this salon, and more importantly Josephine my hair stylist a five star review and here's why:

1. Excellent consultation with input from her end (through, knowledge/expertise). However, Josephine is not overbearing she was actually willing to listen to my thoughts and ideas as well.
2. AMAZING PRICE! Especially for first time customers!

3. Fresh tea and breakfast cake while she does my hair. Gee, thanks! I needed that!
4. Consistently asks for input and comfort level, ensuring that I am satisfied at all times.
5. Takes her time and does NOT by any means rush through the process.
6. Personable individual (Josephine)- a joy to spend time with! One of the happiest, funniest, most vibrant people I've met in LA.
7. Perfectionist! Although this was my first time getting my hair colored (both balyage and ombré), she was the one who willingly spent nearly five hours perfecting my hair tone; ensuring each section of my hair is flawless! That's commendable!

I can continue to express both my graditude and appreciation for Josephine but I think this should suffice for now.

Just left the salon and LOVING my hair. I went with Josephine because of all of the wonderful yelp reviews and pictures of her work.  She explained everything in detail and was extremely sweet and patient.  I felt so comfortable and at ease durning my time there.  The prices are totally affordable and reasonable.  Finally, a good stylist close to home.

I was in LA for the day for work, and just didn't feel like doing my own hair that morning. I found Belle on Yelp and came in for a blowout. It was amazing! Betty was very friendly, took my last minute appointment, and gave me an amazing blowout that lasted through the whole weekend. I would definitely return if I was in this neck of the woods again!

Betty at Belle Salon is spectacular! Not only is she incredibly personable and lovely to spend time with, but she is also beyond knowledgable about hair.

Upon searching for a salon at the last minute, I rushed in like a hot mess and Betty was there to save the day. Before this experience, I had been going to the same hair stylist to color my hair for YEARS. Needless to say I was a bit scared to be sitting in front of a new stylist and colorist. But I can't tell you enough how wonderful Betty is - and my hair looks incredible!

I'm so glad I found Betty. Not only is she an INCREDIBLE hair stylist, but she's also an amazing person. She made me feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning and I could tell she definitely knew what she was doing. I first went to Betty for a Brazilian Blowout about 6 months ago and I could not have been happier with the results. I had straight, smooth, shiny hair for 3 months and thanked the heavens every day for Betty's amazing work. I recently went back to Betty for another Brazilian Blowout, ombre hair color, and a haircut. I was extremely satisfied with my results, and I have the best looking (AND HEALTHIEST) hair I've ever had. My hair makeover took about 3 hours, but it flew by so fast and felt like I was just hanging out with one of my best girlfriends. Betty is extremely experienced at what she does and in my eyes (and the eyes of my MANY friends and family members that have been referred to her) she can do NO wrong. Her prices are great and she's always more than happy to help you achieve whatever look you're going for. After going to three different stylists, I think I may have found one I may return to-hooray!  

I called to see if I could get a haircut right away as I never known schedule and she said I could come right now for just a haircut--no blow dry.  Works for me.  

The salon is located below the Chinese restaurant next to the coffee shop.  Betty is hilarious and has good knowledge and
recommendations.  I am trying to grow-out my hair so there's not much we can do but she cleaned it up so it looks good.  I will be back for color.  Not super cheap but not expensive.  They take credit cards.  Free parking:)

Not only was she reasonably priced, but she really does what you ask her to. Last year I walked into an expensive hair salon in Beverly Hills to get an ombre done and I was scarred from that experience. that last made my hair look disgusting!
I was spontaneous about getting my hair done the same-day, but I took the chance with BETTY! especially because her yelp reviews were all impressive!

I called spontaneously and was greeted by Betty. She was kind and friendly on the phone and helped me make a same day appointment. Her salon is in the same plaza as the coffee bean, so don't make my mistake and get stuck on Santa Monica! Turn in, there is valet for 45 mins (free!) and you'll be so pleased. Betty cut my unruly hair, was so incredibly kind and positive the whole time (she asked about my family and life!) and at the end of a 35 min time slot with her- I felt brand new!
Trust in the reviews, even they don't do her justice. She's honest, didn't chop off all of my hair and at the end- the photo I showed her at the start were exactly (spot on) what my hair looked like at the end!! Hurray for such a great experience.

Since I moved in this area I decided to find someone close by to get a hair cut. Lucky me, I saw this place across the street and great reviews made me come by. I'm glad I did. Betty who's the owner here, is so welcoming and pleasant to be around. So humble and fat pace lady. Knows what she doing and what's more impressive is how her clients greeted her.
After i sat down for color and was waiting for my time. Few ppl walked in who appeared to be her regular clients, they had gifts for her and her staff. It felt like Santa came early :). Everyone was so nice to each other.

Attitude and good vibe has a great impact on me. I love the attitude here, every client is a priority. No wonder they are 5 stars.

I made an appointment with Betty and she was phenomenal! :) I went in without having a haircut for about a year and a half or two, and I was a little hesitant on whether I should get a Brazilian blowout. Just went in to see Betty for the first time after reading the reviews. Let me preface by telling you how absolutely picky I am. I have long hair and I am petrified of someone messing my hair up. I moved to LA about a year and a half ago and the girl that I was recommended to moved too far away from me, thus I had to find someone new. All I can tell you is that Betty was simply AMAZING. She colored my entire hair, cut it and styled it and she did a fabulous job. Got a great deal on it too. She did not go scissor happy, she did exactly what needed to be done. I get married in two months and I was very worried, but not anymore, she has become my go to gal. Thank you, thank you, thank you Betty!

I have been to the best salons in the city  and seen the best people there. I have never gotten better service than at Belle Hair Beauty Salon. They  are the most talented people I have ever found. I will never go to another salon. The people are great, the salon is comfortable and not pretentious. There is not one bad thing I can about this place. I LOVE going and when I am there I never want to leave. I wish I could get my hair cut every day!

I highly recommend this salon. Betty has been my hair stylist for the past few years and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is extremely nice and always does an amazing job on my hair. I go to this salon for Josephine. This woman is the most charismatic, happy, and easy going individual. She's been doing keratin treatment and color on my hair for about 2 years now and I've never been disappointed. She's careful and takes her time on my hair attending to my every need until she get it perfect. Not once has Josephine let me leave the salon if she isn't satisfied.
